The paintings in this series were painted from the coastal path and rocky cliffs near Aigua Blave, Palafrugell, Gerona, Catalunya, Spain. The wild craggy rocks give the coastline its name, and these paintings capture the mid-day sun and afternoon light on the cliffs and sea. The studies include pen and wash, pastels, and oil paintings.
The works are double-mounted, using acid-free white or near-white and pale cream mounting card. The carefully picture-matched framing is light silver or gold textured.
